Supervision Services
Clinical Supervision.
Jodie provides clinical supervision to Social Workers, bringing a wealth of knowledge and
experience from her 20yrs of work in Child Protection across a range of settings. As an
Accredited Mental Health Social Worker, Jodie has extensive experience working with
children and families, victims of crime and supervision Social Work students during
university placements.
Jodie facilitates case discussion as well as exploration of clinical processes, ethical dilemmas
and organisational challenges. In order to prevent vicarious trauma, compassion fatigue
and burnout, Jodie prioritises the importance of self care. Jodie’s style of supervision is
open-minded, sincere and supportive and she would be a great choice for Social Work
students, new graduates and seasoned clinicians. Supervision sessions are available on
a regular or as needed basis.

Professional Carer Supervision.
Jodie has extensive experience working with foster and
kinship carers providing them with support, education
and guidance.
She strongly believes that foster and kinship carers are a
crucial part of the child protection and out of home care
systems. Carers who also work in these systems have
very unique roles. They are working and living with
trauma which can be exhausting without adequate
support. She provides supervision sessions to help
support carers to continue to be the best version
of themselves in their caring role and in their work role.
In the Professional Carer supervision sessions
Jodie can provide:
- a space for cares to debrief,
- emotional support
- an opportunity to talk through the realities of
foster/kinship care and how that might fit with your
individual values, expectations and hopes as a carer.
These sessions can be accessed on an 'as needed'
or a regular basis eg monthly. Session fee is $190
plus GST.
